Gray Sage Branding
Hi there! Today I want to give you a peek behind the scenes to talk a bit about branding, one of my true passions. I approached the Creative Boss team looking for a powerful yet refined brand identity and website for Gray Sage. It was clear from the onset that the branding had to be modern, edgy and sophisticated - just like Gray Sage’s signature style.
We veered away from traditional ornate elements and focused on looking for subtle textures and accents to complement the brand. The logo was set in a contemporary sans serif font - simple yet elegant. The Creative Boss team thoughtfully hand-tweaked the letterforms and spacing to craft a distinctive look.
We came up with varied textures resembling design elements like fabrics. These add depth to the brand and keep the visuals interesting across different applications.
We kept the typography and color palette understated yet distinctive. The deep teal primary color is dramatic and unique from what you typically see in the events industry.
Gray Sage is a true labor of love, and I’m thrilled to have a visual identity that so completely captures the essence of the brand.
